Go Glider 16" Balance Bike with Air Tires
Go Glider is for bigger kids...it's a 16" wheel glider.
This "Go" model is designed for school aged kids 5 to 10 years old who know that learning to ride a bike should be fun! It is also suitable for kids with special needs.
The 16" Go Glider is one of the few affordable balance bikes that will accommodate older children who still need or want the security and fun that a balance bike offers. Many 6 and 7 year olds are still not riding pedal bikes, and by now their fear of riding has usually heightened.
It is also hard to start learning to ride a bike on a 16 inch pedal bike because these bikes are bulkier and heavier which makes it even harder for this age group. That is why the 16 " Go Glider is perfect - weighing in at only 10 pounds (about 1/3 the weight of a pedal bike) and easy to handle without pedal, chains or sprockets to get in the way.
The Go Glider includes more accessories than any other bike! It comes with a hand brake, removable foot pegs, quick releases, and a kickstand!
New: The Go Glider can convert to a Pedal bike with an optional kit (Sold Separately - Coming soon).
Note: the new Go Glider no longer includes pads on the handlebar and stem as do to the redesign of the Stem it is not needed.
- Hold's a child's weight up to 125 lbs.

My daughter loves her new Glide Bike. She has struggled for years trying to learn to ride traditional bikes with training wheels. Only one day on the Glide Bike and she was able to balance and lift her feet up off the ground and glide for short distances. Thanks for the great service and super fast shipping. I would definitely recommend buying from balancebikescanada.ca!
' I am happy about my new red bike.' Those were the words fom our Autistic son. After two years of trying to ride a bike with training wheels and many falls. Our 7 yr. old son is riding his balance bike and loving it. He keeps saying, ' I can ride.' It is wonderful to watch him smile and laugh on his bike. After falling off of a regular bike with training wheels. He had refused to get back on his bike. Now we can not get him off his new balance bike.
I recommend this pedal/less bike for any kid but specifically those kids that have apparent challenges. Kids with autism whom you might deem will never learn to ride a bike. I told my 8-year old grandson that it was a magic bike. He was embarrassed that his friends might laugh at him so we went to the empty school yard and like magic it didn't take him that long before he was balancing on his own. I must warn you thought, at his age he rebelled at first. Saying that it was a dumb bike (because it had no pedals), but I insisted and gave him praise until he felt a glimpse where he was actually balancing on his own. The feeling that he felt in that instance was worth all the money! This propelled him to continue. By the 2nd day he was going down slops where he was balancing all the way down! This bike tricks the brain and removes all the fear built up inside these kids and gives them a wonderful feeling of hope. We walked away and I told him "This is like in life. Keep practicing and you will succeed.". Good luck
Overall I am pleased with the bike there are a few points however I would like to make.
Instruction booklet was a bit fuzzy - the print and diagrams were difficult to see/read.
I am finding that the seat post that slides into the bike frame will move at times - slides down and that the handlebars will also become crooked.
It would be great if the post was a little longer in the seat as some of our special needs students are enjoying it but their legs are a little long.
It is proving to build balance and confidence in those special needs students that we have that are unable to ride a normal bike.
I wish the tires were rubber.
I did find it to be a bit on the pricey side.
I was pleased at how easy it went together, the only issues were that the kickstand didn't mount the way the instructions showed and I wish that the tires had been rubber instead of plastic. The instruction manual should be clearer, print is a little blurred.
