Go Glider 16" Balance Bike with Air Tires
Go Glider is for bigger kids...it's a 16" wheel glider. This "Go" model is designed for school aged kids 5 to 10 years old who know that learning to ride a bike should be fun! It is also suitable for kids with special needs.
The 16" Go Glider is one of the few affordable balance bikes that will accommodate older children who still need or want the security and fun that a balance bike offers. Many 6 and 7 year olds are still not riding pedal bikes, and by now their fear of riding has usually heightened.
It is also hard to start learning to ride a bike on a 16 inch pedal bike because these bikes are bulkier and heavier which makes it even harder for this age group. That is why the 16 " Go Glider is perfect - weighing in at only 10 pounds (about 1/3 the weight of a pedal bike) and easy to handle without pedal, chains or sprockets to get in the way.
The Go Glider includes more accessories than any other bike! It comes with a hand brake, removable foot pegs, quick releases, and a kickstand!
New: The Go Glider now can convert to a pedal bike with the optional kit. (Sold Separately - Coming Soon).
Note: the new Go Glider no longer includes pads on the handlebar and stem as do to the redesign of the Stem it is not needed.
- Hold's a child's weight up to 125 lbs.
- Lightweight at 10 lbs. for safer maneuvering
- High quality, steel alloy frame
- Quick release seat clamp allows easy height adjustments from 16-25"
- Durable 16" pneumatic air tires for a better ride experience

I bought this for my nephew who has adhd and had a tough time learning to ride a bike. He is 7 1/2. We received the glider on Tues, and by Friday (today) he is riding his real bike. The glider really gave him the ability to learn how to balance. and from there, he was able to transition easily to a real bike. These are wonderful and worth the money :)
I have a 9 year old that had a bad experience learning to ride when he was little. He had such a fear of crashing, he was almost paralyzed on subsequent attempts. I also have a 7 year old that liked his training wheels so much, he didn't want to give them up. He was doing stunts with them! One weekend with the Go Glider and both are hooked on riding their 2 wheeled pedal bikes. The older one only used it for about 15 minutes before he felt comfortable enough ride his regular bike. The younger one finally realized how much fun 2 wheels can be. Balance bikes are the absolute best way of learning to ride. I'm not sure why they weren't more popular years ago. It was an expensive purchase for a single weekend and the price/value ratio may be a little high but the results are amazing.
My 6-year-old refused to even try to ride a pedal bike. He was too scared that he would fall. Even though I believe he has the physical capabilities to figure it out, he was too frightened to even try. This balance bike has changed his perspective on riding a bike. He begs to go out and ride it every day. He can already balance on it. This bike enables him to experiment with bike riding, while giving him the feeling of being in control of whether or not he falls. Even though he has fallen, those incidents have not deterred him from getting back up and trying again. I think that this bike is a wonderful intermediate step for him to gain the confidence to try a pedal bike in the future.
We bought the go glider for out 8 year old. She was riding the bike within the first hour with confidence. She requested we take the training wheels off her old bike that afternoon. She was riding her pedal bike the same day we received the go glider. I could not believe how quickly she gained confidence. She was so pleased with herself. We could not be happier with our decision to purchase the balance bike. We are going to purchase the mini glider for our 3 1/2 year old.
I am really happy with my purchase. It was really easy to assemble and my 5 year old loves it. The larger size will keep her striding for at least a couple years until she's ready to try a paddle bike. Her 3 year old sister got the mini glider and fits it perfectly. It's a year and a half old and still looks great.
I wanted to write and thank you for your assistance today with the purchase of our Go Glider.
We were having difficulty with our 5 year old learning to ride a two wheeler as he was more focused on the pedals and not so much on which way he was going. He is very ecstatic with his new bike and keeps telling me how much he Loves it.
The boys went out with their Dad for 30 minutes and the difference is remarkable, his confidence has been restored and he is focused on where he is going, and in that short time he is already gliding with his feet on the pegs.
No words can describe how happy you have made my household and I’m not sure if thank you truly sums it up either. Thank you again
Amanda & Maurice St Aude and our happy boys
For those who didn't start their kids on a balance bike at age 2, this Go GLIDER 16 inch bike is really a fantastic bike for older kids to learn balance and ride a two-wheeled bike in no time.
My 5 year-old absolutely loves this bike!
